Kishangarh
The city of Kishangarh and the municipality is located at the district of
Ajmer, Rajashthan, founded by a prince of Rathore - Kishan Singh and it
lies 27km away from the north-eastern direction of Ajmer.
Most popular name of this city is Indian Marble City and the most amazing
fact of this city is that it is the only place not only in India but also
across the globe that have nine planets temples.
This glorious city has gained a lot of fame in the mid 18th century as the
best miniatures painting school. Though a much smaller school with a least
duration but created the more superior style.
This marvelous school of paintings exists only for a very few decades. Now
also, people who have artistic talent still copy the art. The town has now
converted into specialized textile and marble industrialized town. Kishangarh
is well connected by both buses and trains.
Tilonia
Tilonia is the place, which is at the distance of 25km from the Kishangarh
adjoining Ajmer and 7km far from Ajmer-Jaipur highway. The college of Barefoot
enthuses this small town that initiated in the year of 1972 with a passion
to provide solutions to the problems developed mostly in the rural region
that generate with the community.
The Barefoot College of Rajasthan has gained reorganization in tackling
the issues associated with the education of girls, unemployment in the rural
region, water for drinking and many other well-known common issues by spreading
awareness for the ecological system conservation among the communities of
rural areas.
